ABOUT
Ben Parkey is an Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer of Texas Security Bank. He has over 22 years banking experience as a Commercial Banker and Leader and has extensive experience in both commercial banking and finance. Ben is integral in ensuring that the bank lives up to its mission - Elevating the Champions of Free Enterprise. Ben was an integral part of Texas Security Bank’s support during the PPP loan application process resulting in recognition as a 2021 Silver Stevie Award Winner for Sales and Customer Service, as well as a 2021 All-Star Winner from the National Customer Service Association.
Ben has been instrumental in his leadership with the young commercial bankers, mentoring relationship managers, and assisting with loan structuring and underwriting processes to help grow the organizations presence in the Dallas-Ft. Worth market. He joined Texas Security Bank in 2013 when the Bank was just over $200MM in assets and has played an important role in helping to grow the Bank to over $1.2B in assets. The bank has also been recognized as a five-year certified best workplace by the Best Workplace Institute, a Best Places to work by the Dallas Business Journal & Dallas Morning News, the People’s Choice award for Best Bank in Dallas three years in a row, awarded outstanding finance team 2022 at DCEO’s Financial Executive Awards, and has a Net Promoter Score of 86.7 (banking benchmark average is 30).
Ben has a B.A. in Finance and Accounting from SMU and enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Alli, and daughter, Stella. Ben enjoys scuba diving with his family, exercise, tennis, skiing, golf, all lake water sports, volunteering for The VA Hospital in Dallas and being active in HPUMC ministries/small groups. Ben serves on the Board for The Stemmons Corridor Business Association and The Magdalen House.
