Brian Fillingim is Vice President of Protective Services, responsible for all security operations at Dallas Market Center. He attended the University of North Texas and later joined the Dallas Police Department, where he worked for over 15 years. Brian worked in a patrol capacity for 9 years, mainly working in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas. He became a detective in the Domestic Violence Unit for 2 years and in 2020 became a detective in the Special Investigations Unit, where he investigated Officer Involved Shootings, In-Custody Deaths, Cold Case Murders, Wrongful Convictions, and High-Profile cases.
Brian holds a Master Peace Officer license through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement and is also a Force Science Analyst, Bloodstain Pattern Analyst, Licensed Private Investigator and has hundreds of hours of training in cold case investigations including forensic genetic genealogy and no-body investigations.
