ABOUT

Jeremy Millar was born in Nyeri, Kenya, and spent his early years in East Africa before moving to the UK for his education. He attended prep school and boarding school in the UK from 1963 to 1971, where he developed a strong foundation in academics and sports.


After completing his education, Jeremy attended Norwich Hotel School from 1971 to 1973, where he earned a degree in hotel management. This marked the beginning of his illustrious career in the hospitality industry.


Jeremy's first professional stint was with Rennies Hotel Group in South Africa, where he worked from 1973 to 1984. He then joined Southern Sun Hotel Group in South Africa and spent nine years with the company, honing his skills in hotel management.


In 1994, Jeremy emigrated to Texas, USA, where he began a new chapter in his career. He joined Ramada Hotel Group in Houston  and worked at the Doubletree by Hilton Love Field from 1999 until present.


Throughout his life, Jeremy has been a keen sportsman, excelling in squash, cricket, and field hockey. In fact, he represented Border in men's field hockey in South Africa, a testament to his athletic prowess.


Today, Jeremy continues to work in the hospitality industry, bringing his wealth of experience and expertise to his role at Doubletree by Hilton Love Field. His passion for sports remains strong, and he remains an avid enthusiast of squash, cricket, and field hockey.
